So today is Monday. Could be worse, really, from my perspective. I had a long non-academic weekend. The high points were spending time with vintagefury on Friday night, b_alive and scorpion_gem on Saturday, and a group of friends from college on Sunday. Of late I've realized how important it is for me to be social, if for no other reason, because I'm more inclined to just sit at home and read or fiddle around on the Internet but not do anything worthwhile or work on the repps I should be finishing. I am much more successful if I structure my time and have a bunch of stuff going on all at once. That's the way it's always been. Someone recently told me I had to come up for air, but really, this is how I operate best, and it's when I'm the happiest. I think Jeff certainly acknowledges that, but I just need to make sure I spend enough time with him as well.

I got a very good mark on my assignment for my class, which is terribly exciting for me, and a serious boost to my ego. It just makes me feel so very capable of really doing this, which will then go on to help me when I'm applying to programs starting in February because I can't freaking apply before then.

The gym is going incredibly well. Unfortunately, I ate out nearly every night last week (crappy schedule and all the hanging out with friends) and thus had major heartburn about 12:30 AM this morning, so I really need to get back to it. I've rearranged my gym workout, because basic cardio five days a week just isn't going to cut it. I'm familiar enough with the machines that I can at least do machines three days a week and just leave cardio to the days I have class.

So deana_in_texas recommended mission101 to me, and so I've started a list here. It's rather pathetically small at the moment, and I'm not sure some of what I have down is even appropriate for this sort of thing. BUT it's a start, and hopefully I'll get on the right track soon.

I finally finished Watchmen last night. I really really liked it. Perhaps not as much as my friend does, but I'm really glad I read it and am anxious to see the movie when it comes out. Now I'll be starting Coraline by Neil Gaiman, though I expect I'll have it done by the end of the week, as it's quite short. Not sure what I'll get to after that.

Heroes tonight! Either two or three hours long? Something like that. If I have time, I'm going to try to watch the last episode from last season, which might not help all that much. And of course, a new Supernatural this week. Always a good thing. If I have anything relatively related to free time this week, I'm going to try to watch more Doctor Who.

Oh! And I'll FINALLY start my letter to kiri427!

Wow this got long. Hope you had a great weekend and that your week starts off well!
