I feel odd today.  I had a meeting this morning with psych club that went very well, and I'm really excited about that this quarter.  I'm pissed because we aren't having practice tonight and I really needed to go, so I'll be off to the gym instead, I think.  Our sponsors are coming out to the game on Saturday, so I'm happy about that.  And for the most part, my friends are okay.  This is my time to question relationships.  Not just intimate relationships.  I get mad at people who become couples and basically tell the rest of the world to fuck themselves (not literally, I hope).  And though I think I have good reason, I hate to jump to conclusions.  But then, that means I may still feel some friendship for Crystal, and I sure as hell do NOT.  Oh well.  Just ranting.  But I think it will be a good day.  Because I am working with dumbhippie  and she is cool.</span>

Damn, this computer sucks. So I feel good, because Laura and I are being very productive in the office. I'm miffed for no practice, but I get to have supper with a good friend. Good times, I'm telling you. I have much to study, but eh. Good times. Trying not to think so much about the relationship problem. That in itself is a problem because I have to figure out soon whether I will be going down to San Diego or not, and that will have a huge impact on how the relationship will be. For those who know what's going on, advice is always welcome.

YES! CARRIE MUST READ THIS!

Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to quote the latest issue of The Santa Clara.  On page 10, under the title "The 'ins' and 'outs' of '04: guide to pop culture essentials" written by the Assistant Scene Editor, Michelle Murphy, is this quote:

THE 'IN' SPORT: - Rugby.    Manly men and studly females unite in one of the only truly aggressive collegiate sports left standing.  The pushing, grabbing and other such contact is not only pretty sexy, it's all done without padding, the true test of physical and mental superiority.  The fact that the two teams invariably follow up their games with a night full of beer only adds to the appeal.

Is that not awesome or what!?!

Now, as for the 'out' sport, please continue reading:

THE 'OUT' SPORT: - Football.  While other schools cheer on their padded and helmet-clad (i.e. wimpy) token athletes, we have to fast forward to the end of "Bend it Like Bekham" to see our school on television over winter break.  Perhaps the administration's distaste for cocky men in tight pants is the start of something.

Now I open the topic up.  Because it's an important issue: should the school have football or not?  I am torn on the issue and always have been.  It's generally seen that rugby-lovers hate football and football-lovers hate rugby.  But I still love both.  I try to respect both games.  But what do you guys think?

P.S.: You can check out The Santa Clara, our school newspaper, at http://www-tsc.scu.edu

How many times have I posted today...?

Well, the excitment didn't last too long.  Relationships are falling around me, and I'm ticked because some members of my team are about as responsible as wild pigs.  Meaning they showed up to work late (except Carrie) and when some of them did show up, they didn't know what to do.  And the boss gave me a nice little call during dinner.  Sheesh.  A moment of peace, please.  My poor Alison, I was a nervous wreck with her and she followed me around so nicely.  Now I'm doing stats, and then I have to go talk to Marshall so he can pour his soul about how he hates SCU and the people here.  He doesn't understand that SOMETIMES, we like to be left alone for a little time.  Suppose it's because he's French.

On a happy note, I believe Mitch and I have reached an agreement, and believe me, no one will see it coming.  But if it works, both of us will be happy and will remain close.
