SO many good things rolled into one day

Today has been the quintessential good day that I've been waiting for for a very long time.  Having green tea in the morning is especially refreshing, I have to say.  At around 10:00 AM or so, Scott called and told me that a Butchie's Pet Supply store near my office had recently received a small shipment of young rats, and he promptly picked me up to visit them.  We picked out two beautiful little sisters, both of which are currently sitting under my desk in a travel container until I can take them home and clean out a decent cage for them.  It is really soon after the passing of Peekaboo, but that big empty cage in my room is depressing.  It needs a little life.

My dad also called me early this morning to tell me my computer had come in.  YAY!  YAY!  I have been miserable without it, I swear.  Such a baby.  But I'd REALLY like to not have to pay for it anymore.  Not for a while, at least.  I'll look into getting a new laptop soon enough, but right now I just need to fix the one I have.  But, oh, tonight?  When I get home late late?  WoW.

I also saw another girl I used to play rugby with yesterday.  She's working on campus now, and we've set up a lunch next week.  Good to see old friends again.

I miss having animals in my house.

And I brought green tea not too long ago, after there was a huge hype about its properties, and I instantly disliked the taste, I gave it a few days thinking that maybe it would grow on me, but no.

I know the feeling. I'm really not a big tea fan, and I have a feeling I don't put as much of the actual tea in as I should, so it's not quite so strong. Still can't stand coffee, though. I may never acquire the taste, but I don't mind.

Yea, I don't know what I would do without them. I didn't have pets for two years while I was in the dorms. It's nice having critters. Can you not have them where you are?

No, we're renting, no critters allowed. :(

I've quasi-just started. I've played on my friend's account a few times, and the minute I got my own, my computer crashed, so now I can start up again. What server are you on?

I'm on Hellscream, which is a UK server. I'm probably going to quit, though, because the graphics are too demanding for my computer, and I just get massive lag all the time. Which is sad, 'cos I've got my character up to level 38! I'm going to give Ultima Online a go, I think...

Ahh, have to go back to the roots again, then?

With the small amount of time I've spent on my account, I've created characters on like six different servers, as my friends can't make up their minds. I might be able to get on that one too. A seventh never hurts. What do you play?

I've got a Night Elf hunter called Iceburn. Give me a shout if you make one and I'll help you level up (in other words, cheat! :))
